Vol. II, No. 46

"Where Did I Go?"
I feel as though I'm emerging from the darkness. To begin with, I put most of my life on hold until my recital was over. Then, before I had a chance to catch up on things, I became very busy at my full-time job. Then the weather turned cold which I found extremely exhausting. Then I caught a cold. Then my hard drive crashed. And now there's just so much to do to prepare for Christmas. I'm gradually getting back on track, though. While I put the finishing touches on the final report from my recital, I offer for your perusal the additions I've made to the website (see below).

Updated Pages
Articles Library:
Read an article about the Advent music series at First Christian Church in Ames, Iowa, featuring their organist, Lois Miller, who is also a community member.

Organ Links page:
Newly added -- the Beckerath organ at First Congregational Church in Columbus, Ohio.

Featured Links page:
A harpsichord made entirely from Legos? Not only does it look good but it plays as well. There's an mp3 file on the webpage so you can judge its sound quality for yourself. Also, I've added a link to the Creator magazine website because I thought it might be of interest to those of you in Music Ministry positions.

Have a great week!

Dan Long
