"Turkey Day Wrap-up"
Thanksgiving has come and gone and I hope everyone who was able to enjoyed the day. Now it's time to begin preparing for Christmas so I'd like to bring you up to date. If you haven't been to the website lately, there have been many interesting additions.

I'd like to welcome organist James Welch to the CD Store. Three of his CDs are available and I have enjoyed each of them very much.

Composer Victor Frost's "Organ album: the solos from Incidental Music to Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' op. 73" is available for free download on the Composition Free Exchange page.

I am extending the deadline for submissions to the 1st Annual "Ode to Organ Shoes" Poetry Contest. The persons who submit the three winning tributes to their organ shoes as voted on by the community will receive a T-shirt. I also hope to announce a special grand prize soon. Poetry submissions are being accepted at

Choosing an Organ:
I have a real soft spot for do-it-yourself-ers, especially when it comes to builders of pipe organs. Dennis' Pipe Organ page offers a slightly different perspective on the building process and Dennis' enthusiasm is positively contagious.

Featured Links:
I love the Pipe Organs of Alaska website! After all the times I've threatened to move to Alaska, it's comforting to know that there are trackers there if I ever get up the nerve.

Have a great week!

Dan Long
